My son and daughter are willing to direct it, and we still think we can do it if we get investment within the next two years. I have no idea whether or not this is going to be possible, but I have to try." In a 10 December 2010 interview on Japanese television, Miyazaki mentioned that his next project would be a return to Chihiro's story. In an early August 2011 Ghibli Blog interview Miyazaki said that the project "will probably take three years from now." He continued, "I can't really say too much about it yet because we're only just starting on it... But what I can tell you is that it will be a while until we get going. We haven't even started on the story yet, but for now I can tell you that it will be about Chihiro."
